HEADING INTO 2010: Will compete for time out of the bullpen in the setup role.

2009: Saw action in five games for the Black Bears, making one start... Finished 1-2 with a 5.23 ERA... struck out eight batters in 10.1 innings pitched... picked up a win in Maine's victory over Holy Cross (4/29) in which he pitched season-high seven innings.

2008: Saw action in a team-high 17 games with one start... was 2-1 on the season with a 9.45 ERA... pitched 26.2 innings and struck out 28 batters... earned the win after pitching three innings in Maine's 8-7 win against Delaware State (2/24) in the season-opener... earned a victory in Maine's 7-6 victory over Binghamton (5/17) after pitching 2.1 innings in relief where he did not allow a run on two hits... struck out four batters in the appearances... struck out a career-high two batters against Thomas (4/22).

BEFORE MAINE: Played for Coach Coleman at Midland College... junior college team qualified for the regional tournament... Monterey High School team made it into the state playoffs, where he pitched in the post-season... born December 11, 1986... son of Kathy Faust and grandson of Ed Faust... a biology major.
