2011: Will serve as a captain of the Black Bears for the second year in a row.

2010: Saw action in 54 games for the Black Bears... scored 42 runs and drove in 46... had 15 doubles and three home runs to go along with a triple... was a perfect eight-for-eight in stolen bases... was 3-for-5 with four RBI in Maine’s win over Valparaiso (3/2)... batted 4-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI in Maine’s victory over Georgetown (3/10)... was 2-for-4 with three runs scored and four RBI in Maine’s win over Stony Brook (5/2)... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete award winner and also named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.

2009: Saw action in 33 games for the Black Bears, making 30 starts... hit .345 with 17 runs scored and 19 RBI... had eight doubles on the season... finished with a .991 fielding percentage... finished 3-for-4 with two RBI in the 5-1 win over Vermont (4/26)... batted 3-for-5 in Maine‘s  game against Albany (5/2)... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner.

2008: Saw action in 36 games for the Black Bears, earning 23 starts, mostly in left field... hit .286 with 14 runs scored and 14 RBI... had seven doubles on the season... finished 1-for-3 with a run scored and a season-high three RBI against Delaware State (2/24)... had a career-high three hits against Florida International (3/5)... finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI in Maine’s 8-7 victory over Ohio State (3/8)... had two hits against Vermont (5/11)... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner... named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.   2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt... named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.

BEFORE MAINE: Played for Mike Rutherford at Portland High School, where he batted .485... team finished as Western Maine Champions in 2006... also an outstanding football player where he was a finalist for the Fitzpatrick Award, given to the top senior football player in the state of Maine... also named to the academic honor roll... born March 20, 1987... son of Jayne and Kevin Martin... a communications major.
