BEFORE MAINE: Played baseball at Mt. Abraham Union High School for head coach Jeff Stetson... served as team captain in 2009... named to the 2009 All-Metro First Team, when he lead the league with 122 strikeouts... team was 2008 Division II state champions... finished as Division II runners up in 2007 and 2009... also played basketball in high school... born April 9, 1991... son of Michael and Deborah Orvis... undecided upon major.
