Photographers wishing to photograph men’s ice hockey games at Alfond Arena must contact the men's ice hockey SID Katie Peverada for credential approval while those seeking to photograph women’s ice hockey games must contact the women’s ice hockey SID Kenna Farrey for credential approval.
The UMaine Athletic Communications Office reserves the right to refuse a credential, or access to coaches or players, to any party it deems not a bona fide media entity. The UMaine Athletic Communications Office will do its best to accommodate legitimate requests for game credentials. Priority seating for any event is as follows: local print and TV news media, opponent beat media, national media, opponent media, state/regional media, professional scouts, recognized Internet media and unaffiliated media. When the press box is not expected to be at capacity, legitimate single-game credential requests will be granted. For high-volume games, the criteria above will be used in processing and approving credential requests.
-Credentials can be picked up at the will-call booth at the Alfond Arena Ticket Office.
-Photographers must report to the SID for check in upon arrival. The SID will be the point of contact during gameplay for any questions or concerns. Please meet with the Director of Creative (simon.french@maine.edu) for photo hole assignments. There is one photo hole per corner, subject to availability. There is no guarantee of a photo hole and will be given out on a needs basis.
-Press must sit in assigned seats. Media members found not to be sitting in their assigned seat will be asked to leave.
-There is no cheering allowed in the press box. Violators will first receive a warning, and upon any repeat violation, will be asked to leave.
