HEADING INTO 2010: Is expected to start in right field and lead off... brings speed to the Maine lineup.

2009: Saw action in 31 games for the Black Bears, making 21 starts... hit .278 with 18 runs scored and 10 RBI... hit five doubles and one triple... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete *Rising Star*... named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.

BEFORE MAINE: Captain for Ken Hopkins at the Community College of Rhode Island last year... hit .453 with 39 RBI... had 17 doubles, four triples and five home runs... named the 2008 Team most valuable player... also received All-Region and All-District honors... named an Academic All-American... the CCRI team made it to the regional championship two years in a row... born December 15, 1988... son of Lynda and George Tager... an economics major.
