2012: Sat out the season as a medical redshirt... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner.
2011: Started 10 of the 15 games he appeared in... posted a 1-5 record and a 5.04 ERA... earned a save against Rollins (3/12)... recorded a total of 63 strikeouts in 69.2 innings pitched... had five of more strikeouts in eight games, including a season high eight against UNLV (2/19)... nearly matched that total with seven against Penn (3/7)... threw a gem against Fairleigh Dickinson (3/26), pitching eight innings and giving up only one run on three hits, also tallied seven strikeouts... threw three innings of scoreless and hitless relief against Northeastern (5/10), striking out five batters... named to the America East Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
2010: Had a great sophomore season for the Black Bears... named to the America East Second Team... finished 7-5 on the season with a 5.05 ERA... his seven wins were most on the team... pitched 66.0 innings on the season... struck out 66 batters... pitched a season-high 6.1 innings in games against Lehigh (3/27) and Hartford (4/24)... struck out a season-high eight batters in a victory over Penn (3/8).
2009: Named to the America East All-Rookie Team... saw action in 13 games, making nine starts... finished 3-1 on the season with a 4.30 ERA... finished with 54 strikeouts on the season which led the team... picked up his first collegiate win with a 5-3 victory over Sacred Heart (3/22)... also earned wins against Iona (4/3) and UMBC (4/18)... earned a save in his first collegiate appearance against Duquesne (3/3)... also picked up a save against Wagner (3/30)... struck out a career-high six batters on three different occasions... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete *Rising Star*.
BEFORE MAINE: Pitched his senior season at Nashua South after attending Bishop Guertin the previous years... pitched two games and led his team to the city championship... played summer baseball for Team Connecticut where he went 8-1 with 129 strikeouts... was selected to try out for Team USA Junior National Team... named a 2008 Pre-Season All-American... born July 12th, 1990... son of Pauline and the late Arthur Bazdanes... a secondary education major.
