HEADING INTO 2012: Will be in Maine’s weekend starting rotation... 2011: Saw action in 18 games his sophomore season, making 10 starts... finished with a 6-4 record and a 3.52 ERA... struck out 55 batters in 69 innings pitched... threw two scoreless and hitless innings against UCF (3/2), giving up one walk and striking out five…pitched seven great innings against Rider (3/20) giving up only two hits and one earned run while striking out six batters... pitched another solid seven innings against Fairleigh Dickinson (3/27), giving up one run while throwing for three strikeouts... got the start against Albany in the America East Championship game and went 7.1 innings... allowed just one run on three hits while striking out a season-high eight batters... saw action against both North Carolina and Florida International University in the NCAA Regional.

2010: Finished 4-4 on the season with a 6.33 ERA... made 13 appearances with nine starts... finished with 53 strikeouts... picked up a save in Maine’s 5-3 with over North Carolina (2/27), who was ranked 11th in the nation at the time... picked up a career-high 11 strikeouts in Maine’s win over Georgetown (3/10).

BEFORE MAINE:  Two year captain for his father, Steve Perakslis, at Abington High School... was 13-0 on the mound with a 0.25 ERA and 95 strikeouts... recorded four saves... had a .523 batting average with 33 RBI and five home runs... team was three-time South Shore League Champions... 2009 Division 3 Massachusetts State Champions... two-time South Shore League Most Valuable Player... two-time Player of the Year... three-time All-Scholastic... 2009 South Shore MVP and All-Scholastic in football... born Jan. 15, 1991... son of Steve and Tracy Perakslis... a sociology major.
