2011: Saw action in 40 games for the Black Bears, making 28 starts…batted .312 with 30 hits, including three doubles, two triples and two home runs... also drove in 13 runs... had his first multi-hit game of the season against UCF (3/2), hitting 3-for-4…had back to back games with triples against Fairleigh Dickinson (3/26) one of which he drove in three runs... crushed a home run against Hartford (4/16)... hit 3-for-4 against Albany (5/7), scoring two runs…belted his second homer of the season against Albany (5/27)... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner.
2010: Saw action in 47 games for the Black Bears, making 46 starts... scored 34 runs and drove in 30... had seven doubles to go along with five home runs... also stole six bases on the season... finished with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 47 chances... was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI against Penn (3/7)... finished 2-for-5 with three RBI at Rollins (3/9)... drove in three runs in back-to-back games against Thomas (4/7) and Albany (4/10).
2009: Had an outstanding freshman season... named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American... named to the America East All-Rookie Team... named the America East Rookie of the Week five times... saw action in 47 games, starting 43... finished second on the team with a .356 batting average... scored 28 runs and drove in a team-best 41 runs... had five home runs, four doubles and three triples... began his rookie campaign posting a 12-game hitting streak... was 4-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBI in Maine’s 10-3 win over Duquesne (3/3)... batted 4-for-5 with four runs scored and three RBI in Maine’s 11-7 win over Georgetown (3/11)... had 14 multi-hit games and a team-best 12 multi-RBI games... named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.
BEFORE MAINE: Batted .440 as a senior with six home runs and 32 RBI... named co-Team MVP with brother, Justin... Named to the All-Queens First Team, named All-Brooklyn Queens... All-City First Team as selected by the New York Daily News... his 2006 Midville Dodger’s Travel Team won the 2006 NABF National Championship in Greensboro, N.C. and he was named World Series MVP... born July 21, 1989... son of Dianne and Duane Leisenheimer... a communications major... twin brother Justin plays baseball.
