2010: Played in nine games, starting in five . . . helped an offensive line give up a league-low 12 sacks. 

2009: Played in all 11 games, starting in eight . . . helped produce the most prolific passing offense in the CAA (247.6 ypg) . . . a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner.

2008: Started all 13 games at right guard … marked first season as a starter … helped pave the way for Maine to finish third in the CAA in rushing, thus marking the third-straight year the Black Bears finished in the top four in the league in rushing … helped to open running lanes for running back Jared Turcotte to earn all-conference and All-America honors … Jhamal Fluellen also earned all-conference and All-America honors running behind the line. 2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt. BEFORE MAINE/PERSONAL: Played on the offensive and defensive lines for coach Dave Evans at Nokomis Regional H.S. ... served as a captain during his senior season ... his high school only sponsored the sport of football for two seasons ... nominated to compete in the 2007 Lobster Bowl (Maine High School All-Star Football Game) ... was named the Most Valuable Lineman on his team each of his two seasons ... also competed on the track & field and basketball teams ... won the state title in the discus and finished second in the shot put ... born May 5, 1989 ... son of Richard and Kelly Shea ... a kinesiology & physical education major/teaching and coaching.
