BEFORE MAINE/PERSONAL: Played on the offensive and defensive lines, and kicked for coach Mike Hathaway at Leavitt H.S. … served as a captain … helped guide his team to a conference title during both his freshman and senior seasons … selected to play in the 2009 Lobster Bowl … earned all-conference honors as both a defensive end and offensive tackle … also played basketball … was a two-year captain and two-time all-conference selection in hoops … also played baseball … member of his high school’s National Honor Society … born July 1, 1991 … son of Steven and Dawn Nash … a chemical engineering major.
