2012: Saw action in two games, picking up two tackles and breaking up a pass... had one tackle and one pass deflection at Boston College (9/8)... recorded one tackle at Bryant (9/15).
2011: Played in all 13 games...notched 22 tackles (10 ST, 12 AT), returned a kick for 7 yards and returned a punt...had six tackles against Bryant (9/3)...made a pair of stops against Albany (9/17), James Madison (10/8), Rhode Island (10/15)...had three stops against UMass (11/12) and three stops in Maine’s NCAA Second Round game at Appalachian State (12/3)...named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner and to the CAA All-Academic Team.
2010: Played in eight games as a true freshman . . . notched eight tackles (4 ST, 4 AT) and an interception . . . had a solo tackle at Syracuse (9/18) . . . had first career interception and also had a solo tackle against William and Mary (9/25) . . . made a career-high four tackles (1 ST, 3 AT) against Villanova (10/16) . . . notched a solo tackle at Rhode Island (10/23).
BEFORE MAINE/PERSONAL: Played defensive back, running back, wide receiver and returned kicks for coach Richard Angle at Howland High School . . . named all-league, all-county and all-state . . . named his team’s offensive MVP and won the Best Defensive Back Award . . . a Football Player of the Year finalist . . . also ran track and was a three-time all-league selection and a two-time all-state choice . . . a member of the National Honor Society and an Honor Roll member . . . born Sept. 18, 1991 . . . son of Paula and Robert Mangiarelli . . . a kinesiology and physical education major.
