2009: Missed the season due to injury, but assisted with video. 2008: Joined the team as a walk-on during the season, took part on the team’s practice squad and was redshirted ... has four years of eligibility remaining. BEFORE MAINE/PERSONAL: Played multiple positions for coach Shawn Austin at Greeley H.S. … served as a captain … helped guide his team to the state playoffs during his junior and senior seasons … also played basketball and ran track … helped guide his hoops team to the playoffs, and qualified for the state championship in track in multiple events … also attended Bridgton Academy after high school … was a member of his high school’s Honor Roll … born July 30, 1988 … son of David and Linda Higgins … a business administration major.
