2011: Saw action in 10 games, starting in three...made 40 tackles (20 ST,20 AT) with 1.0 tackle-for-loss (-2 yards) and a fumble recovery...had seven tackles at Pittsburgh (9/10)...notched six stops against Delaware (10/1)...made five tackles including half a tackle-for-loss at Villanova (10/29)...had four stops including half a tackle-for-loss against Towson (11/5)...made six tackles and recovered a fumble against Georgia Southern (12/10) in Maine’s NCAA Quarterfinal contest.

BEFORE MAINE/PERSONAL: Captain for coach Craig Moropoulos at Santa Barbara City College...named First Team All-Conference and Team Defensive MVP...had the eighth-most tackles in the state with 102 . . . born March 21, 1987 . . . son of Karen and Randolph Shipley . . . a pre-med major.
