2011 PRESEASON:  Named to the Consensus Draft Services Preseason All-American Second Team.

2010:  Named to the All-CAA Second Team and the New England Football Writers All-Star Team . . . started all 11 games . . . made 27 catches for 291 yards (10.8 ypc) and a touchdown . . . made four catches for 38 yards against Albany (9/2) . . . had a pair of grabs at Monmouth (9/11) and at Syracuse (9/18) . . . caught a career-high seven passes for 64 yards against William and Mary (9/25) . . . notched three catches for 48 yards, including the game-tying touchdown with under two minutes remaining against New Hampshire (10/2) . . . caught four passes for 24 yards against Rhode Island (10/23) . . . made a pair of catches for 29 yards against Massachusetts (11/6) . . . notched two catches for 52 yards, including one for 39 yards against Towson (11/13).

2010 PRESEASON: Named to Phil Steele’s Preseason All-CAA Second Team. 2009: Played in 10 games, starting in seven  . . . made 18 catches for 182 yards (10.1 ypc) and also made three tackles (1 ST, 2 AT) on special teams . . . caught a pair of passes for 20 yards at Syracuse (9/26) . . . made three catches for 31 yards against Delaware (10/3) . . . caught two passes for 20 yards and made a solo and assisted tackle at Hoftsra (10/10) . . . caught a season-high four passes for 29 yards against No. 1 Richmond (10/17) . . . made three catches for 29 yards against No. 19 Massachusetts (10/3) . . . 2008: Saw action in all 13 games with nine starts at tight end, including the playoff game at Northern Iowa (11/29) … caught seven passes for 130 yards (18.6 ypc) and two touchdowns … caught two passes for 55 yards, including the game-winning touchdown pass off a tipped ball with under three minutes to go, at Monmouth (9/6) … had a 26-yard touchdown grab against Stony Brook (9/13) … caught a career-high three passes for 29 yards at Richmond (9/13) … made a 20-yard grab at Rhode Island (11/15). 2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named a Maine Scholar-Athlete. BEFORE MAINE/PERSONAL: Played tight end, wide receiver, running back and linebacker for coach Tim McMullen at Letchworth Central H.S. ... also served as team captain ... helped lead his team to a berth in the Class C Section V finals ... was named the Defensive Player of the Year in Section V ... earned first-team all-state honors in football ... also played basketball and took part in the throws for the track & field team ... placed third in the sectionals in the shot put and high jump ... named to his high school’s academic honor roll ... born Sept. 27, 1989 ... son of Steven and Darla Buttles ... a construction management tech major.
