Biography

2011: Played in a pair of contests including at Villanova (10/29) and in Maine’s NCAA Quarterfinal game at Georgia Southern (12/10). 

2010: Saw action against Syracuse (9/1).

2009: Sat out the 2009 season as due to NCAA transfer rules ... transferred to Maine from Sacred Heart and took part in the 2009 spring practice with the Black Bears.

2008 (SACRED HEART): Appeared in all 11 games, starting 10 of them at offensive guard.

BEFORE MAINE/PERSONAL: Played on both the offensive and defensive lines for coach Bill Walsh at Holy Spirit H.S. ... served as a captain during his senior season ... earned all-league, All-South Jersey and all-state honors as an offensive lineman ... also participated in the Governor’s Bowl ...helped guide his team to an undefeated record in 2007 and to the New Jersey Non-Public Group 3 State Championship ... also wrestled ... born May 14, 1990 ... son of Karen and Gary Martin ... a kinesiology & physical education major/teaching and coaching.
