2010: Played in all 11 games, starting in 10 . . . completed 198-of-305 passes for 1,861 yards and nine touchdowns . . . also rushed 65 times for 141 yards and three scores . . . went 17-for-26 for 194 yards at MOnmouth (9/11) . . . ran for a score at Syracuse (9/18_ . . . completed 30-of-41 passes for 261 yards and a score against William and Maey (9/25) . . . threw for 253 yards and a pair of scores while rushing 14 times for 36 yards against New Hampshire (10/2) . . . went 16-for-29 for 218 yards and a score while also rushing for a touchdown at Rhode Island (10/23) . . . had 270 yards and a score on 29-for-41 passing at UMass (11/6). 

2009: Saw action in eight games, starting in six . . . helped produce the most prolific passing offense in the CAA as Maine averaged 247.6 yards thrugh the air per game . . . completed 159-of-260 pass attempts for 1,695 yards and 12 touchdowns . . . completed 10-of-13 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown in first game as a Black Bear at Northeastern (9/12) . . . went 24-for-35 for 305 yards and three touchdowns at Syracuse (9/26) . . . threw for 258 yards on 23-for-36 passing and a pair of scores against Delaware (10/3) . . . completed 15-of-25 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing 16 times for 82 yards at Hofstra (10/10) . . . went 35-for-58 for 327 yards and two scores and ran for a third against No. 1 Richmond (10/17) . . . completed 19-of-35 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown  and rushed 13 times for 39 yards and another touchdown against No. 19 Massachusetts (10/31) . . . completed 25-of-42 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown and rushed nine times for 45 yards at James Madison (11/7).

2009 OFFSEASON: Transferred to Maine from Iona College in the spring semester after the school dropped the program following the 2008 regular season ... took part in spring practice with the Black Bears ... is eligible to play in 2009 for Maine due to the discontinuation of the sport at Iona. 2008 (IONA): Appeared in 10 games at quarterback ... completed 127-of-234 pass attempts for a team-high 1,347 yards ... threw nine touchdowns ... was also the team’s second leading rusher with 164 yards and two scores ... completed 13-of-25 passes for 130 yards and a score in his first collegiate game at Wagner (9/13) ... threw for 122 yards and a touchdown at Maine (11/1). BEFORE MAINE/PERSONAL: Played quarterback and defensive back for coach Lou Vircillo at Lacey Township H.S. … was a two-year captain … earned First-Team All-Shore honors at both positions … was named the MVP of his team and the MVP of the All-Shore All-Star Classic … helped guide his team to the state finals three years in a row, including a win during his junior season … threw for 1,400 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior … also played basketball and baseball … earned all-county and all-league honors in hoops … was named the MVP of his baseball team … was a member of his high school’s Honor Roll … born Feb. 20, 1990 … son of Warren and Karen Smith … a kinesiology & physical education major/teaching and coaching.
