Samuel Tremblay connected on a 40-yard field goal late in the third quarter for the first field goal of the season for the Black Bears.
Notes:
- Kye Pressley forced a fumble in the opening quarter for the Black Bears that was recovered by Jeremiah McGill.
App State scored a touchdown in the first quarter, three touchdowns and a field goal in the second quarter, one touchdown in the third quarter and two touchdowns and a field goal in the fourth quarter.
