2010: Sat out the season.

2009: Named to the America East Second Team... finished 6-3 with a 3.96 ERA... tied for the team-lead with two complete games... also had a pair of saves... pitched 61.1 innings and struck out 44. 

2008:  Named to the 2008 America East All-Rookie Team...  appeared in 11 games on the mound, starting all 11... was 2-5 on the season with a team-best 3.74 ERA... led the team in innings pitched with 67.1 and in strikeouts with 72... his 72 strikeouts ranked third in America East... had a pair of complete games... pitched six or more innings in nine of his 11 games... earned first collegiate win in Maine’s 6-0 victory over Albany (4/11)... went the distance in the game, scattering just three hits over the seven innings... struck out a career-high 12 batters in the game... picked up a 6-3 victory over UMBC (4/18) in his following start... struck out eight batters on three different occasions.

BEFORE MAINE: Played for Kirk Fredericks at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School... led his team to the Summer League Intercity League Championship in 2007 and to the state championships in 2005 and 2007... led his Sudbury Legion team to back to back Final Eight appearances in 2006 and 2007... named the Boston Globe Player of the Year, Boston Globe All-Scholastic, Boston Herald All-Scholastic, Metrowest All-Scholastic, Louisville Slugger Player of the Year, Rich Pedrolli Tournament MVP, Honorable Mention All-American, Massachusetts Division I Tournament MVP,  Dual County MVP... set high school records for wins (12), strikeouts and ERA (0.14) in a season... set a school record for strikeouts... born March 24, 1989... son of Debra and Edward Scanlan... undecided upon major.
