Hana Davis named to NFHCA Division I Senior Team

The America East Midfielder of the Year is one of 30 selections

ORONO - The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced their 2020 Division I Senior Game selections on Wednesday, with Maine's Hana Davis representing the Black Bears on the list.

Hana's exceptional senior season, after becoming the third Black Bear in program history to be named the America East Midfielder of the Year, receiving Outstanding Graduating International Student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences honors, and leading Maine to a co-regular season championship and the America East playoffs.

Hana, along with the rest of the Maine senior class, will return for the fall 2021 season.

The in-person 2020 NFHCA Senior Game was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the 2021 Virtual Coaches Caucus, the NFHCA Division I membership agreed to continue to recognize a selected group from the graduating class of 2021 who either played or would have played their senior season during the 2020-2021 academic year.
