Maine returns to action Sunday
LOWELL, Massachusetts -- The University of Maine field hockey program fell to Boston College on Friday afternoon by a score of 5-0.
Klara Mueffelmann would open up the scoring for the Eagles in the second quarter after a scoreless first quarter.
Regan Walsh would add a goal in the second quarter to go into halftime with a 2-0 lead.
Boston College would score their final three goals in the third quarter to finish their scoring. Alexandra De Cain, Laila Rosenquest and Caroline Chisholm would add the last three goals.
Annabel Halkes would make 11 saves in the contest, while Fiona Günsch would make five saves in one quarter of action.
Maine is back in action on Sunday as they take on Boston University at 1 p.m. at New Balance Field.
