HEADING INTO 2013: Expected to contribute innings out of the bullpen. 

IN 2012: Saw action in six games for the Black Bears, earning a pair of starts... finished 1-0 with a 12.54 ERA.... struck out six batters on the season... picked up the win at Florida A&M where he got the start and went four innings... struck out a pair of batters in the game.

BEFORE MAINE: Captain for coach Miguel Cuello at Trinity Christian  in 2010-11... hit for an average of .408 with eight home runs... also played at West Boca High School from 2007-2010... earned Most Improved Player Award at Trinity Christian Academy... born June 20, 1993... son of Amiro and Mariela Pupo... has one brother, Carlos, who played baseball at Purdue University and signed with the St. Louis Cardinals... majoring in Political Science.
