ORONO, Maine -- It will be a busy and exciting Saturday on campus this weekend as Black Bear fans have the chance to enjoy a full day of athletics and activities in Orono. All events are free to attend.

From cheering on the Black Bears to exploring campus and enjoying the spring atmosphere, Saturday offers something for everyone and the perfect opportunity to spend the day on campus.

The action-packed day begins at 10 a.m. with the 20th annual Jeff Cole Memorial Spring Football Game to give fans their first-look at the 2027 roster. Following the game, fans are invited down to the field for a meet and greet with the Black Bears. 

Also starting at 10 a.m. will be Maine's athletics yard sale. The event will take place at Alfond Arena on April 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offer fans the opportunity to purchase new and used items from all varsity programs including jerseys, footwear, apparel, and equipment. The sale is cashless.

The Maine baseball team will host UMBC in game two of a three game series on Youth Day at Mahaney Diamond. Fans will have the opportunity to pick-up the second card pack of the season while the Black Bears will invite kids to the field for postgame autographs and a chance to run the bases.

Also at 1 p.m. the field hockey team will host UMass Lowell in their final spring game of the year at the Maine Field Hockey Complex.
