ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine softball team will host UAlbany this weekend in the 2024 home opening series at the UMaine Softball Complex.
 
The two America East squads are set to play two games on Saturday, beginning at 12 p.m., and then a single game at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
 
Saturday will feature a post-game egg hunt around the field and on Sunday, fans are invited to run the bases after the game.

• Maine played at conference-favorite UMBC last weekend … the Black Bears dropped 8-2 and 12-4 games on Friday … on Sunday, Maine fell in a nine-frame extra-innings affair, 4-2.
