BOSTON – The University of Maine softball team had three student-athletes earn 2026 America East All-Conference honors, which were announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Kaelyn Larkin was named Second Team All-Conference and also earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team.
Alysen Rieth and
Keira Inman both earned a spot on the America East All-Academic Team.

Larkin started all 17 conference games for the Black Bears and hit .375 in those contests. The Medfield, Mass. native recorded 18 hits, four doubles and five home runs for a .771 slugging percentage while scoring a league-leading 18 runs. Larkin ranked among the top 10 in conference games in several offensive categories. In addition to leading the league in runs scored and walks earned (13), Larkin was second in home runs, fourth in slugging-percentage, fifth in RBI, sixth in both doubles and on-base percentage (.508), seventh in hits and eighth in batting average. Larkin, who earned two Rookie of the Week awards during the conference slate, finished the regular season overall with a team-leading .367 average, 33 hits, 23 RBI and eight doubles.

Rieth graduated last spring with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Athletic Training, maintaining a 4.0 GPA at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Rieth has thrown a total of 107.2 innings on the year, second-most in the conference. The Lake Havasu City, Ariz. native is also third in the conference in strikeouts (84) and tied fifth in wins (6). Inman is a Kinesiology & Physical Education major with a 3.64 GPA. Overall on the season, Inman tied for the conference lead in triples (3) and was third in conference play with 17 RBI. Both Rieth and Inman earn their first career academic honor.
