Jordan Schulefand scoring from third on the fielder's choice.

Fifth Inning: After hitting a leadoff double in the frame,
Jake Marquez came in to score on a wild pitch by Vin Zappulla, making it 2-0 Black Bears.
Quinn McDaniel added one more for the Black Bears as he hit an RBI single to right field, bringing home
Jordan Schulefand.
Scout Knotts kept the inning going for the Black Bears as he hit an infield single to third, scoring
Quinn McDaniel (1 SB) to make it a 4-0 game.

The Black Bears would then draw 3-consectuive bases-loaded walks to bring home 3 runs.

Merrimack got a run back in the bottom of the frame as Christian Gemelli drew a bases loaded walk, bringing home Ben Nelson.

th inning for the Black Bears, as he allowed a hit and walk before giving way to
Nick Caviglia, who finished the inning allowing a single run (charged to Holt) and a walk, while striking out 1.

Sixth Inning: Kurtis Stadnicki drove in Merrimack's second run of the contest as he hit into a fielder's choice, allowing Scott Elliot to score. Bryant Skurbe later came in to score on a wild pitch.
