Rob Michel has been a spark on the blue line all season long for Maine, as he has found the back of the net 6 times, coupled with 7 assists, leading the D-Core with 13 points.
Rob McGovern found his old form at Fenway Park, located just 16 miles from his hometown in Weymouth, MA. He brings a 7-7-3 record to Agganis Arena along with a .914 save percentage. The sophomore goaltender looks to stay stoic in net for the Black Bears as the meet the Terriers on the Road.
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Boston University is coming off a series sweep against the conference leading Boston College Eagles moving them to second in Hockey East. Sophomore Defenseman Charlie McAvoy, leads the high flying blue line for the Terriers, and has notched 3 goals and 11 assists for 14 points. Sophomore Forward Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson currently paces the team with 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points. Freshmen goaltender Jake Oettinger has been a force between the pipes for the Terriers compiling a .937 save percentage to go along with his 1.78 goals against average en route to an 11-5-2 start to the 2016-2017 season Boston University boasted 7 World Junior Championship participants, 6 of which winning gold with Team USA. Defenseman Dante Fabbro represented Canada and brought home a silver medal.
