AMESBURY, Mass. – Twenty-three members of the 2025-26 University of Maine men's ice hockey team have been named to this 2025-26 Hockey East All-Academic Team, as announced on Monday by the league. Each student-athlete on the All-Academic Team achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or better in each of the two academic periods during which he was actively competing.

Thomas Freel and
Jeremy Langlois were named to the Hockey East All-Academic All-Star Team for earning the highest GPA at their position for the 2025-26 season. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Freel has earned a spot on the Academic All-Star Team.
Additionally,Â
Grayson Arnott,
Brandon Holt and Freel all earned Distinguished Scholar status for having qualified for the All-Academic team in each of their four seasons of varsity play.
