The Black Bears are led in scoring by senior captains
Blaine Byron (9g,11a) and
Cam Brown (3g,17a) who look to continue their quest for 100 points with both being just 13 points away from the century mark. The boys from Alpharetta both had impressive weekends against the Yellow Jackets with Pearson netting 5 goals and an assist while Fossier notched a goal and an assist in his lone game of the weekend. Rob McGovern continues to be the man between the pipes for the Black Bears. Thus far through the 2016-2017 campaign, McGovern has amassed a 6-7-3 record, to go along with his .913 save percentage and 2.87 goals against average.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
New Hampshire is led by Senior Tyler Kelleher, who not only paces his team, but is 4th in the country in scoring, notching 31 points through his first 17 contests. Senior Captain Matias Cleland has been a force at the blue line as well, and has combined for 1 goal and 18 assists for a total of 19 points. UNH has been a force in league play thus far through the 2016-2017 season, amassing a 5-1-1 record, and is among the tops in the division for both goals for and goals against. Currently the Wildcats have scored 31 goals against Hockey East opponents, good for second in the league, and have only surrendered 17 goals, good for second as well.The Black Bears will look to solve Junior goaltender Daniel Tirone, who is undefeated against Maine this season.
