Orono, Maine - The America East Conference announced on Tuesday morning that Nic Pepe of the University of Maine baseball program was named the Player of the Week for the conference following his weekend against Bryant.

Pepe, a native of Sarasota, FL, slugged his first two home runs of the season against Bryant, one in game one of the weekend and the second being the eventually game-winning grand slam in the final game of the series. He had a 1.000 SLG and a .583 OBP during the series, driving in six total runs.
