Box Score Bronx, NY – The University of Maine baseball team fell at Fordham on Tuesday afternoon.

Black Bears Scoring Breakdown:

Brody Rasmussen got the game going in a big way as he hit a solo shot on just the third pitch of the contest for his third home run of the season.

Dean O'Neill brought home the second run of the opening frame on a sac-fly to center field, scoring Drew Reynolds (3B).

Maine scored another two runs in the third inning as Reynolds (E4) scored on a wild pitch before Chris Bear singled home Quinn Murphy (1B) later in the frame.

O'Neill added on a second RBI to his day in the form of a solo home run to left field in the sixth inning, his third home run of the season.

Myles Sargent brought home the final run of the day for Maine as he hit an RBI groundout to third base, scoring Evan Menzel (2B).

The Black Bears went to a bullpen day on the mound as eight different pitchers were used.
