Jeremiah Jenkins got the Black Bears off to a fast start as he hit a two-run home run to left field, his 16th home run of the season.
Zach Martin (2B) scored on the play.
Second Inning: Merrimack plated six runs in the bottom of the second.

Gabe Gifford began the third on the mound for Maine.
