Soccer Announces 2023 Promotional Schedule

Orono, ME - The University of Maine soccer program announced its 2023 promotional schedule on Monday afternoon.

The 2023 promotional schedule will be:
8/15 vs. UNB: Poster Giveaway
8/17 vs. Le Moyne: Poster Giveaway
8/20 vs. Rhode Island: Bark in the Park
8/24 vs. Holy Cross: International Day
9/17 vs. Vermont: Orono Day/Blue Out
10/1 vs. UMBC: Youth Day
10/15 vs. Bryant: Senior Day
10/26 vs. UNH: Border Battle/Breast Cancer Awareness Game

On August 15th the Black Bears will be wrapping up their exhibitions with a matchup against the University of New Brunswick. There will be a team poster giveaway where all fans in attendance will be given a free schedule poster.

The Black Bears will begin their 2023 regular season on August 17th against Le Moyne College. They will be giving out schedule posters to all fans in attendance.

Maine will host Rhode Island on August 20th on what will be Bark in the Park. All fans are invited to bring their dogs out to the game and the first 20 dogs get a dog bandanna and dog treats will be provided.

On August 24th against Holy Cross, the Black Bears will be having their International Day. There will be flags hung up for every player's home country and anyone in any type of international jersey will receive a free raffle ticket for a prize.

The Black Bears take on conference rival Vermont on September 17th on what will be Orono Day and a Blue Out game. The first 50 fans get a free t-shirt and the team will be available for post-game autographs.

When the Black Bears host UMBC on October 1st, the Black Bears will be hosting their Youth Day. There will be pregame face painting and inflatables for kids to play in, along with a post game photo with the team.

On October 15th the Black Bears will be celebrating their seniors on Senior Day against Bryant.

The Black Bears will wrap up the regular season on October 26th in the Buffalo Wild Wings Border Battle against UNH. That game will be the Breast Cancer Awareness Game where all fans are encouraged to wear anything pink to the game. Free hot chocolate will also be available to all fans in attendance (while supplies last).
