HAMILTON, N.Y. – The University of Maine women's soccer team battled Colgate to a 0-0 tie on Sunday afternoon at Beyer-Small '76 Field.

Elena Barenberg made five saves in the non-conference contest for her first shutout of the season.

NOTES

Colgate had a 12-8 lead in shots while Maine had the 6-5 edge in shots on goal.
The Black Bears earned five corner kicks while the Raiders had four.
Elena Barenberg made five saves for Maine in earning her first shutout of the season … it marks the fourth shutout of her career.
Maine is now 0-2-1 all-time against Colgate … this was the first meeting between these two teams since 1993.
Britta Denny and Audrey Palmer both made their first collegiate starts.
Palmer, Luise Reinwald and Olivia Grisdale all played 90 minutes for Maine.
Reinwald had a game-high three shots and three shots on goal.
