Orono, ME - The University of Maine field hockey team dropped their final non-conference game of the regular season against Northeastern on Sunday, 2-1.<br />

Poppy Lambert got the Black Bears going just 59 seconds into the contest as she scored her third goal of the season on a penalty corner chance for the Black Bears.
Tereza Holubcova (6) and
Eloise Penty (2) picked up the assists on the play.<br />

Northeastern scored the next two goals in the contest, one by Ashley Pappas in the second quarter and one by Lauren Rowe in the third as they took the win, 2-1.<br />

Jayde Temby picked up a career-high 10 saves in the losing effort.<br />

Maine (7-10, 3-4 AE) remains in Orono for the final game of the regular season on Sunday, Oct. 29 as they host California. That game is scheduled to begin at 12 P.M. with the Senior Day ceremony scheduled for pregame.<br />
