Orono, ME - The Collegiate Baseball News announced on Wednesday morning that University of Maine designated hitter, Jeremiah Jenkins, was named to the Freshman All-American Team. 

Jenkins, who served as the primary designated hitter for the Black Bears, was named to the America East All-Conference Second Team as he slashed .284/.409/.485 with 7 home runs, 7 doubles, 3 triples and 27 RBI's across 46 games played.
