Box Score STORRS, CONN. - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team handed the Huskies of UConn their second loss of the season in the 1-0 victory.
 
FIRST GOAL (1-0 Maine): Jen Costa (1) brings in the pass off of the takeaway to take a wrist shot that Ally Johnson tips under the glove of the Huskies goaltender to give the Black Bears a 1-0 lead. For Johnson, it was her sixth goal of the season.
 
For the Black Bears, they were anchored in net by the outstanding performance by Loryn Porter. Her 27 save shutout marks her first of the season, seventh of her career.
 
For Maine, they will be taking on the Huskies for the second time on the weekend when they face off on Saturday, Nov. 13. Puck drop is at 3:00 P.M.
