Biography

SENIOR (2020-21): Started all 18 games in net for the Black Bears … Finished with a record of 8-9-1, a .954 save percentage and a 1.493 goals against average … Was named a finalist for the inaugural Goal Keeper of the Year Award in Collegiate Women’s Ice Hockey … Recorded a lone shutout on the season against Boston University (1/24) … Had a career best 51 save performance against Northeastern (1/17) … Recorded one goal against or fewer in 12 of her 18 starts on the season.
 
JUNIOR (2019-20): Saw action in seven games between the pipes ... finished the season 3-3-1 with a 2.22 goals against average and a .919 save percentage ... made 158 saves with a pair of shutouts ... picked up her first victory of the season in a 17 save shutout at Sacred Heart (10/4) ... made a season-high 50 saves in a win at Northeastern (11/24) ... picked up a shutout victory after making 19 stops at New Hampshire (10/25).

SOPHOMORE (2018-2019): Appeared in net nine games, six of those being starts for UMaine ... Had a 1.55 goals against average (11 goals against) and a .924 save percentage (133 saves) ... Recorded two shutouts on the season ... Had shutouts against Quinnipiac (10/6), registering 14 saves, and against Scared Heart (10/12), registering 10 saves ... Had a season high 26 saves against New Hampshire (2/3).

FRESHMAN (2017-18): Appeared in 5 games for the Black Bears ... finished with a recorded of 2-2-0 ... had a career high of 38 saves against Robert Morris (10/14) ... had 26 saves in loss against Boston College (2/17) ... Named Pro-Ambitions Rookie of the Week (10/16).

BEFORE MAINE: Played her club hockey for the Mississauga Jr. Chiefs, backstopping the squad to a third place in the Provincial Women's Hockey League in 2016-2017 ... invited to the U-18 Team Canada Selection Camp in 2016 ... was a member of the National Women's U-18 Championship winning Team Ontario in 2016 ... also competed in ultimate Frisbee, cross country, track and field and soccer in high school.

PERSONAL: Daugther of Noreen Porter ... has four younger siblings in Owen, Haley, Zeva and Ty.
