Orono, Maine -- Anthony Iliano of the University of Maine football program was named a Nominee for the Allstate Good Works Team on Monday, July 20.
The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team recognizes college football student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional commitment to community service, academics and athletics. The program honors players who use their platforms to strengthen communities and support causes important to them.
Iliano has been a part of several community service projects during his time in Orono, those being:
NMDP Bone Marrow Drive
The Maine Day of Giving Food Drive
YMCA Volunteer Events
Bangor and Orono Youth Programs
Along with his dedication to the community, Iliano is one of the top performers in the FCS on the field, recently being named a Preseason Third-Team All-American following his All-CAA Second Team selection in 2025. He also was named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll for thr 2025-26 academic year.
Iliano was one of 49 athletes named a nominee for the award across the FCS, Divisions II, III and NAIA ranks.
