ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine softball program has announced six promotional dates on the 2026 home schedule. Additionally, Black Bear fans will be able to enjoy year-long freebies at every home game.

The Black Bears open up the 2026 home slate on Saturday, April 11 with a doubleheader against UMass Lowell at the Pierre & Catherine Labat Softball Complex.

Admission to all of Maine's regular season home games is free. The Black Bears will also host the 2026 America East Tournament from May 6-8. For the full 2026 Maine softball schedule, click here.

April 11 vs UMass Lowell | Stein Game - Free commemorative Softball Steins for the first 50 students and chances for other prizes throughout the game(s)
April 12 vs UMass Lowell | Bark in the Park - Free bandanas for the first 25 dogs
April 15 vs Husson | Rumble Cup/Neon Night - As part of UMaine Residence Life's Spring Rumble Cup attendance competition, the dorm with the most attendees at the game will receive a Giant Jenga set for use at their dormitory! And as you get ready to come over to our only weeknight game of the season, wear Neon!
April 19 vs Binghamton | Strikeout Cancer - Wear pink as we continue the push to Strikeout Cancer
May 1 vs UAlbany | Youth Day
