LEXINGTON, Va. -- The University of Maine men's swimming and diving team remains in fifth place with 241 points after day three at the America East Championships.
Joey Stauss posted the race of the day for Maine as he won the 100-yard butterfly with a school record time of 46.64.
Maine's 400-yard medley relay team of
Matthew Bendoraitis,
Nate Teerlinck, Stauss, and Julian Lapietra finished third with a school record time of 3:15.43.
Nate Teerlinck posted a school record time of 54.98 as he took fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Carter Bartolini finished 10th in the 400-Yard IM with a time of 4:02.01 while
Noah Machristie finished in 15th at 4:06.52.
Bendoraitis finished 13th in the 100-yard backstroke at 50.53 and was followed by
Brendan Matos who took 16th in the event at 52.30.
Calvin Comeau turned in a 16th place effort in the 100-yard butterfly at 49.78 while
Jackson White finished 16th in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:43.26.
On the boards,
Gray Miller took seventh on the 1-meter with a score of 247.25.
