Stauss posts school record mark in 200 IM on day two of America East Championships

LEXINGTON, Va. -- Joey Stauss posted a new school-record mark in the preliminary round of the 200-yard IM event before re-breaking his own mark in the finals on day two of the America East Championships. The Black Bears currently stand in fifth place with 123 points.

Stauss took the silver medal in the 200-yard IM with his school record time of 1:47.84. 

Julian Lapietra finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall at 20.10.

Stauss, Jesse Lower, Scott Klein, and Lapietra teamed up to take fifth in the 200-yard freestyle relay at 1:22.25.
