ORONO, Maine - The Maine women's ice hockey team will travel to Boston College for two conference games at Conte Forum arena. Game times are set for Friday, Jan 30 at 6 PM and Sunday, Feb 1 at 2 PM.

- Head Coach Molly Engstrom earned her 50th win.
- Maine sits in 7th place, tied with Boston University.
- The Black Bears outshot the Warriors both nights. On Saturday, Maine kept the Warriors to just 17 shots, the least of any opponent so far this season.
- Maine is 8th in the nation in blocked shots with 399. Rookie Sade Sandilands leads the team with 50 blocks.
- Kiia Lahtinen is 9th nationally, with 682 saves in her 24 games played. Last season, she made 620 saves in 23 games. Lahtinen holds a .923 save percentage.
- With her goal this weekend, Stephanie Jacob ties Isabelle Michaud with 6 goals each, as they lead the Black Bears in scoring.

- Last season, Maine lost to BC three times in the regular season (3-1, 5-1, 5-0) and additionally in the Quarterfinal Round of Hockey East playoffs 4-3.
- Kiia Lahtinen started all four games against the Eagles last season for Maine.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES:
- Rookie forward Ava Thomas leads the Eagles in goals, assists and points this season with 35 total. Not only does she lead BC, but all of Hockey East in scoring and game-winning goals. Thomas is on a 6-game point streak currently.
- Sammy Taber is next in line with 20 points (6-14-20).
- Most recently, BC split with UNH last weekend winning 4-1 and then losing 6-2.
- Goaltender Grace Campbell has started all 26 games in net this season.
- The Eagles are in 4th place in the Hockey East standings.
