Maine, which trailed 46-34 with 7:14 remaining in the game, closed the contest on a 20-7 run to earn its eight America East win of the season.

Maine held a 34-26 edge on the boards and improve to 20-1 in its last 21 home conference games. The victory was also Amy Vachon's 167th of her head coaching career, just one shy of matching Joanne Palombo-McCallie for the most wins by a basketball head coach in UMaine history.
