KINGSTON, R.I. -- The University of Maine women's swimming & diving team placed seventh at the Harold Anderson Invitational, hosted by the University of Rhode Island, with 253.5 points.
On day four,
Eva Welsh turned in Maine's top finish by placing fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:21.54.
Nicolene Harkins set the pace for Maine in the distance event, finishing seventh in the 1650-yard freestyle at 17:32.98.
Mia Poirier added a 10th place showing in the 200-yard butterfly, touching the wall at 2:08.93.

Charlotte Hoover, Amelia Obzarny, and
Emily Yorkievitz teamed up to take sixth in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a final time of 3:31.19.
