Hoover sets school record in 200 IM on day two of America East Championships

LEXINGTON, Va. -- Charlotte Hoover set the school record in the 200 IM to lead the way for the Black Bears on day two of the America East Championships. The Black Bears currently stand in sixth place with 127 points.

Hoover placed ninth in the 200-yard IM with a school-record time of 2:04.96. She was followed in the event by Laura Dube who finished 13th at 2:07.64.

Ashley LeClaire placed eighth in the 3-meter dive with a final score of 192.90.

Nikki Harkins posted a 13th place showing in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:05.33.

Amelia Obszarny (13th) and Mia Poirier (14th) touched the wall back-to-back in the 50-yard freestyle with times of 23.74 and 23.77, respectively.

Obszarny, Hoover, Emily Yorkievitz, and Poirier teamed up to place sixth in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:34.63.
