LEXINGTON, Va. -- The University of Maine swimming & diving teams currently stand in sixth place with 209 points after three days of competition at the America East Championships.
Charlotte Hoover placed ninth in the 100-yard butterfly at 56.39 while her time of 56.92 in the 100-yard backstroke portion of the 400-medley relay was a new school record mark.
Mia Poirier placed eighth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.65.
Laura Dube took 10th in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:04.97, followed by
Maddie Baldwin in 16th with a time of 1:07.37.
Eva Welsh added a 13th place showing in the 400-yard IM with a final time of 4:35.45.
Amelia Obszarny finished 15th in the 100-yard backstroke, touching the wall at 58.61.
Macy Organ finished 16th in the 100-yard butterfly at 58.02.
Maine's team of Hoover, Dube, Poirier, and
Emily Yorkievitz finished sixth in teh 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:51.37.
