Box Score PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Asta Blauenfeldt led Maine with 10 points in the University of Maine women's basketball team's 70-39 loss at Brown on Sunday afternoon.

The Black Bears dug themselves into a hole early, trailing 21-2 after one quarter, and were unable to battle their way back.

Blauenfeldt finished the day 3-of-5 from the floor and a perfect 3-for-3 from the free throw stripe as she extended her double-figure scoring streak to 10. Sarah Talon and Adrianna Smith each added six points while Lizzy Gruber added five points, four rebounds, and a career-high four blocks.

Maine finished the game 15-of-57 (26.3) from the floor, including a 3-for-23 showing from three-point range, and were outrebounded 51-26. 

The Black Bears return to action when they open the Turkey Tipoff at Iona by taking on UIC on Nov. 28 at 2:30 p.m.
