ORONO, Maine – The #10/11 University of Maine men's ice hockey team will continue Hockey East play this weekend when it travels to Massachusetts to face #15 Boston College on Friday and Saturday at Conte Forum.
The Black Bears and Eagles will face off at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22. Â Both conference tilts will stream on ESPN+, with an international stream available via Hockey East/Stretch Internet. Additionally, Friday night's game will air live on NESN. • Maine holds a record of 56-74-11 in the all-time series with Boston College ... the Black Bears are 17-35-6 against the Eagles on the road.
• This is the first meeting between these two teams with Maine ranked higher than Boston College since a #3 Maine squad lost 4-0 and 4-1 at #10/13 Boston College on Nov. 19 and 21, 2010.
• The Black Bears were 0-2-0 against the Eagles last season, falling 3-2 and 3-0 at Conte Forum in November.

• Maine has outshot the opponent in 68 of 87 contests dating back to the start of the 2023-24 season ... on Nov. 6 at UMass, the Black Bears fired 54 shots on goal, marking the sixth time since the 2003-04 season that Maine had at least 54 shots on goal in a game.
• Justin Poirier is one of just three Hockey East rookies since 2005-06 to score 10 goals in their first 12 career games, joining fellow Black Bear Bradly Nadeau (2023-24) and New Hampshire's Patrick Grasso (2016-17).
• Maine's weekend sweep of BU Oct. 31-Nov. 1 was the program's first weekend sweep of a top-5 team since doing it at #3 Boston College on Jan. 25-26, 2013.
