AMESBURY, Mass. –University of Maine men's ice hockey forward Josh Nadeau has been named the Hockey East Co-Player of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league.
 
Nadeau recorded a hat trick and added an assist for a four-point outing at #13/12 UMass on Thursday night. The St-François-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick native scored the first goal of the game in the first period and then assisted on the eventual game-winning goal before going on to score two more times in the 6-2 victory. His goals included a short-handed goal and a power-play goal. Nadeau finished the weekend with 13 shots on goal.

Nadeau earned Hockey East Rookie of the Week and a Hockey East Player of the Week nod during his 2023-24 freshman season.

Sasha Boisvert of Boston University was the other co-player of the week.
