AMHERST, Mass. – The #6 University of Maine men's ice hockey team fell on the road at #13/12 UMass on Friday night, dropping a 4-0 contest at the Mullins Center.

The Minutemen took a 1-0 lead midway through the first period, converting on the power play.

Midway through the second period, UMass converted on a 5-on-3 power-play opportunity to double the lead. The Minutemen added another goal before the second intermission before tacking on an empty-net tally with just under three minutes to go in the third period for the 4-0 final.
